these people were sitting down on the big chairs at grand central terminal. i converted this shot to black and white for effect, and the granulated appearance was also intentional to give it a more antiquated feeling.

  • Tamar - where are you? According to 10e20's website, you're still there.

Are you? Love the photo above. If you go to a website called "spider awards" and get to 2006 nominees and scroll until you see my work, you'll understand why.

  • I like the composition and the way you used black and white. I haven't thought to use black and white for a long time. This photo has made me rethink.

  • Love the picture. Very artsy. And captures the feeling of that place perfectly. I've sat on those benches waiting for the trains, so I know exactly what's going through that woman's head. Heh, heh. Great blog. Your photos are great.

  • Great move converting to b&w. I love color but sometimes b&w says more.

  • Beautiful shot, it captures both of them as I imagine I will be seen in my old age.
