as has been tradition for the past four years, on september 11th, massive lights shine above the city of new york commemorating the destruction of the world trade center buildings. i took this opportunity to go downtown and capture a few shots of the glimmering lights that are but a simple memory of the 3,000+ who perished that day when the towers went down.
nearby, flowers were attached to the fences and candles were shining brightly. these pictures will be featured later this month.
